“A sidebar with … Beth Coakley,” Michigan Lawyers Weekly, May 12, 2017

Beth Coakley has more than three decades of experience in intellectual property law. On May 6, as the event chair of the Michigan World IP Day event at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, Coakley used the opportunity to inspire what may be the next generation of innovators.

Coakley started her career 36 years ago as a clerk for G. Mennen Williams, chief justice of the Michigan Supreme Court and former governor of Michigan. She went on to work for Kmart Corporation from 1985-1993 before joining Harness IP, where she has remained since then.
