Harness IP to Sponsor BAMSL’s Annual Inventor of the Year Awards & CLE

Harness IP is pleased to help sponsor the Bar Association of Metro St. Louis’ (BAMSL) Annual Inventor of the Year Awards and CLE on Thursday, October 11th. As part of the event, Harness IP Associate Joel Samuels will moderate a panel discussion about recent developments in patent law and at the USPTO. Samuels will be joined by the Honorable Jacqueline Wright Bonilla (Vice Chief Administrative Patent Judge at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board), Todd Dickinson (Polsinelli and Former Undersecretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Former USPTO Director) and Professor Dennis Crouch (University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law).

With degrees in economics and business administration, Samuels began his career focused on antitrust compliance in Hart-Scott-Rodino reportable transactions as well as Hatch-Waxman litigation. As a result, he counsels clients from the viewpoint of business investment and asset management. His current practice is focused on serving clients in contested matters in district courts and Patent Office proceedings, including post grant review proceedings and TTAB oppositions and cancellations.
