International Trademark Association Selects April Minarik to Serve On the 2024-2025 Copyright Committee

Harness IP is pleased to announce the International Trademark Association (INTA) has appointed April Minarik, an associate in the firm’s Detroit Metro Office, to serve on the 2024-2025 copyright committee.

INTA is a global association of brand owners and professionals devoted to supporting trademarks and complementary intellectual property to promote consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation.

INTA’s committee volunteers drive the initiatives and programs of the association, and they are vital to its success. This year, more than 4,400 member volunteers applied to serve on committees. April’s involvement in this committee provides a unique volunteer opportunity to support INTA’s strategic objectives and demonstrate leadership within the international trademark community.

April’s practice focuses on protecting clients’ trademarks, web domains, and published works and helping them realize the full potential of their intellectual property. She has an abiding respect for the creative process and its outcomes and works to protect the value of clients’ intellectual property. April handles a variety of matters including U.S. and international trademark enforcement and prosecution; copyright submissions; IP portfolio management; and domain name investigations and resolutions.
