Harness IP partners Joe Walsh and Bryan Wheelock will present “Preparing Your Business Intellectual Property for Due Diligence” as part of Enterprise University’s 2022 fall course schedule.

The session, scheduled for 10:00-11:30am CT on October 20, 2022, will demonstrate how business owners preparing for a sale or merger can find protectable elements in their business that increase the company’s value, examine effective valuation strategies, and give an overview of how to properly protect and manage the company’s IP. Walsh and Wheelock will also offer practical insight into issues such as trademark and copyright filings, ways to make products proprietary, how best to determine what agreements are necessary for a particular transaction and then how to formalize those agreements.

The course is part of Enterprise Bank and Trust’s “Enterprise University,” a series of 90-minute virtual courses designed to sharpen business acumen. Its webinars are taught by subject matter authorities, covering topics ranging from leadership, human resources and entrepreneurship to marketing, law and finance.
