Harness IP Attorneys Leanne Rakers and Jeremiah Foley Tapped for LCLD Programs
Harness IP is pleased to announce that Principal Leanne Rakers and Associate Jeremiah Foley have been selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Fellows and Pathfinders programs, respectively.
The LCLD Fellows program identifies rising stars in the legal industry, helping them develop leadership skills, build professional relationships and networks, and form successful career development strategies. The program targets mid-career attorneys, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, who have demonstrated career success and promising leadership potential. Its curriculum for 2025 includes in-person class meetings as well as in-person and virtual networking opportunities, learning experiences, and accountability partners. As a leader in the firm’s Chemical & Life Science practice group and the former Chair of its Diversity & Inclusion Committee, Leanne’s participation in the LCLD Fellows program is a natural fit.
Pathfinders selects early career attorneys whose firms have recognized their leadership potential. The eight-week program includes in-person and virtual sessions designed to build professional networks, educate, and hone leadership skills. It also places an emphasis on including attorneys from underrepresented backgrounds. This innovative program marks its 10th year in 2025. Jeremiah, an up-and-coming patent attorney and former mechanical engineer, will gain valuable experience and development opportunities through his participation in this program.
The LCLD is made up of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have pledged themselves, through the Leaders at the Front initiative and other means, to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. Harness IP has participated in LCLD since 2021 and has seen ten of its attorneys participate in the Fellows and Pathfinders program. More recently, Principal Joel Samuels and Associate Alexandra Fuchs were honored with the organization’s Atlas Award, recognizing outstanding engagement during Pathfinders. Joel is also in involved in this year’s Coaching Circles Program.
Join us in congratulating Leanne and Jeremiah!
