Harness IP is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its Diversity & Inclusion Fellowship for summer 2022. The D&I Fellowship consists of a paid summer clerkship, an IP boot camp orientation program, and a $5,000 scholarship upon completion of the summer clerkship. Fellowship participants will be assigned an attorney mentor who can be available to provide ongoing support during the following school year.

“We are excited to once again open our D&I Fellowship to law students hoping to pursue or explore a career in IP law,” says Leanne Rakers, firm Principal and Chair of Harness IP’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. “As a firm, we look forward to supporting these new voices and perspectives in our firm and in the field of IP law.”

The D&I Fellowship provides qualified law students with an opportunity to explore IP law and receive career mentoring. Law school students who are a member of an underrepresented group, are a woman, are a member of the LGBTQ community, have a disability, or are a veteran are encouraged to apply. Fellowship participants will work in a Harness IP office location of their choice and may be eligible to renew the Fellowship following the completion of their first summer clerkship.
